The truth is, Finnegan Lane doesn't have a perfectly planned, inspirational origin story. One day, while grieving the loss of my dad and running on a little ADHD-fueled impulsivity, I bought a clothing pallet for that sweet dopamine hit. If you have ADHD, you probably understand! Then reality set in—I had just spent a lot of money, so I figured I'd better get to work and make something of it.

With the help of my husband and my best friend, Finnegan Lane was born.

While the beginning may have been unexpected, the name holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, my dad would often tell me something his mother used to say: "Finnegan, begin again." It was her way of reminding him that it's okay to start over. At the time, I thought it was just one of those quirky family sayings (turns out it's actually a thing!).

After my dad passed away, I found myself wanting something that would help keep his memory close as I stepped into a new chapter of life. Finnegan Lane became that reminder—a fresh start, a new adventure, and a way to keep a piece of him close.

You'll also notice a vintage van in our logo. That's a tribute to my dad, who was a general contractor and spent years working out of his beloved white Chevy Astro van. We always teased him about his "creeper van," but everyone who knew him knew that van. It only felt right to include it as part of this journey.
